Sunday Story…Belief

You have the desire but you are looking at a chasm between where you are and where you want to be. That chasm appears uncrossable. The process of building a bridge, a way of crossing is daunting at best and maybe, in the back of your mind, impossible. You could quit, shelve your desire, slink back into being and having what you have always had and done.

But we both know your desire is stronger than that. It won’t be shelved, it will continue to pop up, continue to burn like a wildfire until you decide to pursue it. You’ve tried to stuff it away before and here you are again.

It’s time to build that bridge from what you want to who you are. That bridge is founded in belief…unshakeable, all-encompassing, unwavering belief. Without belief, your desire doesn’t have a foundation to build upon. Believe that you deserve whatever it is that you desire, believe that you are worthy, that what you want is achievable. If you don’t believe it you can’t achieve it.

Desire without belief is a dream never to be realized. I must believe that manifesting my desire is possible for me. You have seen other people try and fail, try and succeed. Without belief, there can be no bridge across the chasm between what is and what can be.

Belief is the bridge desire uses to cross the chasm.
